Can the council provide an update on the Clane Inner Relief Road extension through Capdoo, with an outline of phases for completion and an estimate of when it may be transferred to the council for public use?

Works to the Clane Inner Relief Road are progressing well. The road is scheduled to open in Quarter 3, once all outstanding works are completed. These works include the tie in on the Kilcock Road, the road safety audit, preparation of the safety file and the completion of the handover process..

"Clane Inner Relief Road

The members considered the following question in the name of Councillor McEvoy Can the council provide an update on the Clane Inner Relief Road extension through Capdoo, with an outline of phases for completion and an estimate of when it may be transferred to the council for public use?

A report was received from the Transport Department informing members that Works to the Clane Inner Relief Road are progressing well. The road is scheduled to open in Quarter 3, once all outstanding works are completed. These works include the tie in on the Kilcock Road, the road safety audit, preparation of the safety file and the completion of the handover process.
