Question
Can the council give an update on the Clane Inner Relief Road [link] extension through Capdoo, with an outline of phases for completion and an estimate of when it may be transferred to the council for public use?

The legal agreement has now been signed off by Kildare County Council and the Developer, Dunform Properties Limited, in relation to the delivery of the Capdoo Link Road.
The design of the Capdoo Link Road was carried out by DBFL Consulting Engineers and has been agreed by the Kildare County Council Roads Planning Section.
There will be a resident engineer from DBFL Consulting Engineers supervising the works on site. The construction works are scheduled to commence on site before the end of May 2024 and the projected contract period is 9 months.
