Peace Commissioner

 

As a Peace Commissioner, I am authorised to take statutory declarations, witness signatures on documents required by various authorities, and sign certificates and orders under various Acts of the Oireachtas.

In preparation, please check that:

​

• "Peace Commissioner" appears on the documentation,

​

• ​A passport (or driving licence) is available to evidence the declarant's identity.

​

​There is no fee for the service.

​

However, please note that I cannot witness an affidavit swearing or a declaration that requires a Commissioner for Oaths.
